Comic fair...

Well, last weekend, went to the comic and toy fair which was held at suntec city. Went wif jiazhen(my army friend) n kenny on sat. Went wif my cousin, kenny n yc on sun.

Sat...
It really was a while since i last see jiazhen. Abt 4 months... As usual kenny msg mi that he will b late when i reached the place but i never thought he only reached an hour later. Jiazhen wasn't the patience type... Well, kenny shld msg mi that he will b very late instead. We juz walked ard the exhibition. i saw a really cute Domo shirt n a a carebear plush. I juz feel like buying but i never bought enough money wif mi.

we went over to marina sq next where kenny spent a fortune trying to push the toys again. Ya, he caught 2 scrump n completed another set of wat he caught last week. This time, he spent slightly lesser as compared to last time. The 1st set, he used 100 bucks to complete the set, now he only spent 95 bucks. (-.-") But wat matter to him that he was happy.... Ya, he oso completed a my melody n kuromi set. Seeing that melody doll juz brought back some memories of the past....

Sun
Met my cousin at 2pm, meet the rest at suntec at 3pm.... This time round we had a gd time taking photos of the cosplay ppl.... Yc was the only one who never took any photos.... mayb he was shy ba. kenny wanted to take photos with every gals.... Ya, when he saw some ppl cosplay as mask rider... he like went crazy... luckily, there r no power rangers ard...

There was a guy who dressed up as gundam n he was prefect... The costume was soooo nice... he won the 1st prize in the end... i made sure my cousin took some photos of it... there were so many characters walkin ard in the fair. i took photos with mario bros, halo master chef, bumblebee n others...

the Domo shirt which I wanted to buy wasn't available anymore. i bought the 20th anniverary grumpy bear plush. This toy was selling for 160 bucks at simply toys but at the fair, it was selling for 25 bucks, the owner was telling mi that the original price for it was 60 bucks. i shld post up the photos for it in another post ba. another care bear plush to my carbear collection.

Ya, another unexpected stuff that i bought was an ugly doll... I wasn't really interested in the doll but the original creator was there giving out signature for the doll. Initially, i was telling my cousin to buy but in the end it was kenny who bought an ugly doll notebook for 15 bucks. later my cousin bought a medium plush for 10 bucks. Kenny was asking mi if i am interested in buying the uglydoll keychain which was sold for 5 bucks, buy 3 get 1 free. He gave mi a doll which was the last of its kind in the stall. It really was ugly..... i muz comment... i paid for it n got the creator to draw on the back of the doll... Wat on earth am i doing buying an uglydoll... wat am i thinkin of... but at least it will b a collector item ba since the creator draw on its back. mayb 50 yrs from now, i will sell it on ebay... hee....

After the fair, made our way to marina sq where kenny unleashed his money on the toys catching machines... He caught a really big scrump, ya i am nt envy as i got the smaller ver of it at home. Besides, i don like toys that were too big unless it's a care bear. I only got a softspot for carebears ba. i guess...

now that i tink, my own collections had extended to 1 more....
